chucs, belgravia

Chucs Café Belgravia is our second iteration of this all-day dining concept with sites in some of London’s most desirable neighbourhoods. The timeless and elegant interiors are inspired by the splendour and effortless glamour of 1950s Italy. A sumptuous colour palette evokes the spirit of the Amalfi coast, with details and finishes reminiscent of luxury yachts, classic Italian sports cars and the enduring elegance of a vintage train carriage.

The interior of the café is fresh and inviting, creating an environment that is welcoming during the day yet warm and intimate in the evening accompanied by a large outdoor terrace wrapping around the building for al fresco dining.

The interior centres around a stunning timber front bar with backlit onyx counter. A bespoke geometric patterned marble floor compliments the bar over which hang three oversized brass pendants with a series of bespoke bar stools upholstered in pink buffalo leather. The walls of the café are oak panels inset with patterned wallpaper and antique mirror on which numerous artwork pieces hang.

A dramatic tree with interwoven vines arcs up and across the ceiling, providing separation between the bar and cafe area and the restaurant to the rear. The dining room ceiling is finished in high gloss, off-white painted timber panelling and includes two bespoke feature antique brass and prismatic glass pendants with a dome shape and petal edge detail. Freestanding banquettes upholstered in a striking petrol blue leather and pale blue velvet sit alongside marble tables with chamfered corners and bespoke armchairs upholstered in a pale-yellow, textured fabric.

Unique to this site is the luxurious private dining room with adjoining wine room. The rich, wallpaper clad room features a striking patterned fabric dining chair and is finished with a gold leaf wallpaper ceiling adorned with a bespoke feature pendant.
